This photo was taken the night of December 23, 2001 at around 2:30am when Tom and Lucas left for the night after we mastered HDB and prepared it for upload. On the wall, to the right of Tom, is the Full Throttle cloth headrag that came with the game. Way out in the country where Monkeystone was located we had a very slow uplink so Lucas took it home on his USB keychain to upload from his home DSL line. That's him and Tom goofing around delirious after insane hours of crunch! On the wall behind and to the right of Tom is the 'do-rag that came with Full Throttle.

Here's a screenshot of the first Win32 program I wrote, TED 2001, the tilemap editor Tom used to create all of HDB's maps. I wrote some crazy shit in the About... dialog and you'll see an old version of a room that Tom made using his own graphics.

Here's a desktop capture of me coding the MSG tool. MSG stands for MonkeyStone Grabber - it's a tool that basically reads a script file that describes where and how to grab graphics off screens, add data files, etc.

Here's a screenshot of me coding in Embedded Visual C++ for the PocketPC build of HDB. I was coding the waypoints (clicking the mouse will add a waypoint for Guy to follow). I always had my PocketPC connected to my computer so when I compiled the code I could upload it into the device and test it out. Really cool!

Lucas is working on a song for HDB here. Yes, Lucas did a bunch of music for the game.

My computer displaying a mostly-completed version of TED 2001, the map creation tool for HDB. It took me about 3 weeks to write it and it was my first C++ program.

Here I'm looking up some documentation in the FMOD sound library as I code the sound layer for HDB. FMOD is just AWESOME!

Here you can see the DVD case and PC box for Hyperspace Delivery Boy! We actually never shipped anything in the PC box but we did deliver the game in the DVD case in the mail. Argentum was a game developed by a friend that we published and produced. It was hailed by the PocketPC gaming press as an extremely impressive achievement. Javier Davalos was the coder and he lived in Argentina. His company name was Ionside - hmmm.....very interesting name.
