Here's the first level running in double-res. You've gathered 3 letters already.
The same level but running in hires with no letters gathered.
The full instructions (I didn't write).
Finally Joey exits the maze......and i've finished writing the game and am out the door....
Some of my debugging notes and also the code to check for the exit door where you have to type in the correct word from the letters you've gathered.
More notes mostly on the passing variables back to BASIC and the code to collide with one of the letter cubes
My game notes continued after 4 months....
More maze code planning
Some notes on internal workings....
Blah blah blah mazecode
Oh maze code!
Mazey maze maze....
More maze creation code
My maze creation code...some of it
The cast of characters
You can see some more code here and that I took a 4 month break from this game. Probably the reason why it falls kinda flat on the fun side.
Christian's comic, page 2
My imagining of Woody coming back after Joey wiped him out with his backpack of exploding rocks
Christian's comic.....page 1
The second page and some actual code for the monsters shooting at the player (Joey)
This is my first page of coding notes
This is Christian's title page for the comic. I didn't really try to clean up these scans. :)
Here's the double-res menu screen - very boring. But you can see I used 80-column text at the bottom for the double-res version (and 40-column for the hires version).
Here's the UpTime menu shell.....my game's icon wasn't too bad.
