Romero > The date I put on the game was 1985 even though I finished it at the end of 1984. I didn't want the game to seem old when people saw it, heh.

My girlfriend at the time (through most of high school) was Jennifer and I gave her special thanks because she gave me the ideas for the different sea creatures to put in the game....plus she was cool about me spending time writing it!
Romero > Screenshot of the horrible game Phazzar - trying to be a Missile Command clone......without the fun.

Hey.....it doesn't look so bad....
Romero > Here's my title screen! I think I drew the name of the game with line skipping because I was inspired by Nasir's "Phantoms Five" game's look. Or something.

The main character, Mike, runs through the little title maze there and repeats ad nauseum. God that noise got irritating!
Romero > Level 1, fully loaded down with those crazy robots. I probably survived 3 seconds after this screenshot.
Romero > This is a fake advertisement I drew for one of the earliest games I've created called Dodge 'Em. Notice that it pokes fun at itself. Notice that.
