Romero > Someone's an artist! Seriously, I did not draw this picture - someone at UpTime did it. Because I didn't even know they published my game until 17 years after the fact. And I love the way they renamed the game by dropping the apostrophe S off the word "Bongo's". Everywhere on the screen you see "BONGO BASH" except when you actually run the game - even the damn filename is wrong! Sure, it's funny because it sounds like the damn monkey is saying it but the meaning changed with the rename. Grr.
Romero > This is the cover page screen where you select an article to read or run one of the programs. Awful, awful design - it takes forever for a choice to actually happen because of the lame-o gun animation.
Romero > I recently found out that Bongo's Bash was published by UpTime Disk Magazine approximately 9 months before what I thought was my first game published with them, Zippy Zombi! It seems that UpTime must have seen Bongo's Bash either on the HotCider disk or in the Cauzin Softstrip ad and contacted inCider about the publishing rights. So that makes THREE places that Bongo's Bash has been published! :)

Romero > I had thought about making a sequel to Bongo's Bash and wanted it to be a platformer ala Donkey Kong just to push the BRAND in a different direction. Instead, I let the BRAND languish into obscurity. SILLY ME!
