I wrote Krazy Kobra in 1983 because I had loved Snake Byte (Chuck Sommerville, 1981) so much that I wanted to write my own clone and have more levels in it. Snake Byte had 28 levels so I made 50 in Krazy Kobra. The game is a pretty good version of the classic Snake game.
UpTime wanted to publish it in 1987 so I said, "Hell yeah! Gimme $250!"
The back cover. Notice the Applied Engineering ad. Most people were afraid to touch their interface cards but these cartoon bozos have no qualms about possibly blowing up this $130 card.
Make sure you have an iron will or you won't survive Krazy Kobra!
